12th February 2013: Ten Things You Should Know This Morning

Today is just 2 days away from the day of love and romance–if you go for the mushy sought of things in life. Personally, the 14th is just a day for gross commercial debauchery, the financial waterloo for many a lover boy like our very own Adam Wagwau but away from that. Here are the top stories you need to know this morning:

#1. Did you know that the presidential debate that was the talk of the town yesterday and indeed today morning almost didn’t happen? Yup! Muite and Diba nearly scuttled the whole affair but everything was resolved and the debate held. Read about that here.

#2. Citizen has only had a precious few minutes to catch a breather and they are under fire again. Read about that as Jeff Omondi takes you through the details of the new threat they are facing.

#3. Mutahi Ngunyi is quite the trouble rouser. He has a knack for saying just the right words to get you off your rocker and he’s done it again. this time, Mista Majani takes you through why Mutahi Ngunyi feels that the presidential debate is just a waste of timer ergo a waste of resources.

#4. Size 8 made 7 million Kenya shillings in just 6 months. Find out how that was possible here.

#5. Churchill Live failed to air as scheduled and Jeff Omondi has the low down on the dark forces that interfered.

#6. At the recent Miss University beauty pageant held at Carnivore, politicians tried to ingratiate themselves to the revellers but that failed miserably. they got booed off stage. Read about how they made it rain only to be heckled.

#7. What does Size 8’s mum think of her skimpy stage attire? Find out here.

#8. Our photo of the day was of Ian Mbugua cross dressing. Make up was also involved…

#9. Here are photos of the presidential candidates arriving for the presidential debate.

#10. Lulu Hassan has opted to snub K24’s overtures and it seems she’d prefer to get into bed with Citizen TV instead. Read about that here.
