All refreshed Kwani Open Mic about to go down this February

It is the event that has seen many spoken word artistes and lyrically deep rappers rise to recognition.

The Kwani? Open Mic event has for a long time promoted Kenyan literature and all the talent that can be found in this particular field of art, especially poetry.

It has provided a platform for poets, rappers and singers who not only love to perform infront of a live audience, but also place value on the lyrics. It’s all about the spoken words.

The Kwani? Open Mic will this February be going down on the 5th, at the Arfa Lounge, Mama Ngina Street with MC Cindy Ogana presenting to you the best of spoken word.

Guest Poet will be Benson Kimani.
