Top Events To Look Forward To In The Month Of Jan-Worry!

Ladies and gentlemen, the month of Decem-Bar has ended and in her place, her sister Jan-Worry is here to occupy your time and fill your mind with worry but there are some events that are sure to put a smile on your face.

And the top event this month is Blankets and Wine. There is actually a shortage of events to attend. The only one worth the time of day other than Mugithi is Blankets. And why should you attend Blankets? Well, they have an impressive line-up this time round. And the crown jewel of the performers has to be LiquiDeep! These have to be the best thing out of South Africa since Madiba! They are an Afro pop duo who specialise in making tunes that even the most battle hardened vet would swoon to.

Still sceptic? Well why not check it out this weekend at Mamba Village from 1pm to 7pm. The rest of the line-up consists of Andrew & Afrology the Band, mercurial Makadem and the uplifting soulful sounds of Dan ‘Chizi’ Aceda.

Limited advance tickets will be on sale for Ksh. 1,300 on www.ticketsasa.com (click the link to get yours). Regular advance tickets will be on sale on ticketsasa and at select Dormans outlets (Mama Ngina, Westgate, Village Market, Yaya, Junction and Karen) for Ksh. 1,500 from 31st December. Tickets at the door shall be sold at Ksh. 2,000 for adults and Ksh. 500 for children (5-12 yrs). Children below the age of 5 enter free.
