Winners’ List from Daddy Owen’s Malaika Tribute Awards

Tuesday evening Daddy Owen’s Malaika Tribute Awards were held for the first time at the Safari Park Hotel. Malaika Tribute Awards are aimed at celebrating people with disabilities and recognizing the work of people who have contributed to making their lives better.

Malaika Trust also hopes to bring change in the community and help the society to view the disabled people as their equal and supporting the rights of people living with disabilty. So here are the winners of the night;

Young Achiever: Arts & Music Award -Martha Ouko

Lifetime Achievement Award -Mary Atieno

Special Recognition Award -Ruth Mueni

Young Achiever: Sports -Shadrack Wambugu

Good Samaritan Award -Bethany Kids Kijabe Hospital

Notable Educator of the Year Award -Dr.Michael Ndurumo
