Just-A-Band Exclusively Share Their New Music

Just-A-Band held a listening party for their upcoming album at the Goethe Institut last weekend to a packed house. Between revealing new music, they also played DJ sets by DJ Bonyeza Kidude, DJ Ponyox, DJ Nairobi Dhobi and DJ Gummy Bear to keep the fans entertained in what was their first open local gig since the DJ Cleo concert.

The first song off Sorry For The Delay the band played was a cover of The Cavaliers Band’s Dunia Ina Mambo. In between sets they also played a funky, dance-friendly 8-bit track, Doot! Doot! They also played the song that has climbed to the top of a lot of people’s iTunes, Probably For Lovers.

The set also included Twende Kazi, which fans already know from the first album. It’s actually a reworking of that same track but it is not considered a remix and it will feature in SFD. Another track from the album played on the night was Life Of The Party.

These and more tracks will play at their upcoming launch on the 27th of October at the KICC. Events starts at 6:00 p.m. Entry is Kshs. 500.
