Do You Know About This Sheng Website?

Mbugus na kibandla ya mnyadhe. This is what greeted me first when I logged onto the official sheng website in Kenya. Unable to fathom ANY of the words (of course apart from “na” and “ya”), the rest sounded like Greek.

Anyway if you didn’t know, there is an official sheng website that covers all news IN SHENG!! Complete with a kamusi, names, idioms and similes the website is a social enterprise that rides on the sheng culture to celebrate Kenya and advance national unity.

Boasting of 2572 words, 6450 members, 38421 searches and 2260 mchongos, the site is not relenting in its quest. It even has a crossword, mchongoano and bonga (forum) sections just to make sure that visitors to the site familiarize themselves more with Sheng words.
