Internationally Celebrated Dance Group to Stage a Show in Kenya

The Za Kale Za Dance Troupe will hold an event at the Kenya National Theatre on the 14th of September. Tickets to the event go for Kshs. 500. A Kshs. 1,000 ticket gets you entry to the event and two drinks of your choice (soda, beer, juice).

The show will feature Kwa Uno, a post modern contemporary dance with flamenco music of the Spanish origin. The show will feature other artistes like The house of Mumbi and Fred Omondi as the emcee among others.

Za Kale Za have graced several platforms on the international level in Sweden, Holland, Spain with their latest international performance being the Korean show they did this July.

The troupe has also performed at Braeburn, Oshwal, The Kenya National Theatre and done several exchange programs at the UN, Spanish Embassy, Italian embassy among others.

Za Kale Za says, “We are targeting promotion of dance music locally because we feel there is need for local appreciation far from the Europe appreciation where we enjoy publication and staging of our talent shows.”

After the event, there will be an after-party at the Coco Lifestyle Lounge near Nakumatt Lifestyle in the CBD.
