International Gospel Artistes Performing in Kenya This Weekend

The MOVE Tour concert will take place at the Mavuno Dome at Belle Vue, South C on September 9th between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Advance tickets are being sold at Nakumatt Mega, Sarit Centre, Westgate and Safaricom shops in the CBD. Regular tickets are going for Kshs. 500 while VIP tickets are going for Kshs. 1,000.

Started in September of 2007, Madlove Lounge is an urban Christian movement. Madlove Lounge provided a platform for upcoming artistes to showcase their talent through monthly open mic sessions in Nairobi. The movement also provided an avenue for the artistes to network with established artistes and various industry stakeholders.

The movement, which has facilitated the rise of some of Kenya’s top gospel artistes, has also inspired similar initiatives in Malawi and Zambia. From 2010, Madlove Lounge has partnered with other entities to bring in top gospel hip hop artistes from the U.S. including Da T.R.U.T.H, Lecrae, Flame, Tedashii, KB, Trip Lee and Andy Mineo.

It doesn’t stop there. Madlove Lounge presents The MOVE Tour in Kenya. The tour brings together the fierce creative explosion of four of today’s leading voices in urban ministry, Da T.R.U.T.H, Jahaziel, Ambassador and Sean Simmonds. This is a movement to awaken African communities by challenging and equipping youth and young adults to MOVE forward with God.
