One of the Hottest Kenyan Rock Bands Due For Concert

If you missed your monthly rock fix, then Rock Therapy is here to remedy that. Beetle Entertainment and XFM brings brings you a bi-monthly event at Rangers Restaurant (KWS).

Rock Therapy is the first in a series of events and will take place on the 11th of August. The show starts at 6:00 p.m. and charges are Kshs. 500.

The first featured band will be the five-member Parking Lot Grass and spinning on the night will be Kenya’s premiere rock DJ, DJ Jack. Unlike Battle Of The Bands, the event will be more like a concert, concentrating on one band each edition.

Parking Lot Grass is one of the hottest local rock bands, with a couple of their songs getting airplay on Kenya’s only rock station, XFM. Their single, Etched On My Heart peaked at number one on the same station’s chart. So did their second single, Speed Chaser.

The event will also feature rock-themed cocktails and the dance crew, Sarakasi.
