Why Tanzanians Have Started an Online Onslaught against Raila Odinga’s Daughter Rosemary Odinga

Rosemary Odinga, eldest daughter of Cord leader Raila Odinga has come under fire for some remarks she made during an important function .

Miss Odinga is reported to have said that Olduvai Gorge is located in Kenya and not Tanzania during her speech at the international Young Leaders Assembly. Olduvai Gorge is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world as it holds the earliest evidence human existence.

Now the Tanzanians have started an online petition which already has 841 signatures in less than 24 hours where they intend on compelling Rosemary to apologize. They want her to apologize for allegedly ‘stealing’ Tanzanian’ history for monetary gains.

“The call to action is for Ms Odinga to submit a public apology and correct the information with regards to the location of the Olduvai Gorge. We need to get 1000000 of signature and will file this petition to UK government to use their diplomatic weight for further action to demand the correct action to those attempting to mislead the world with regards to Tanzania natural resources and tourism. “Part of the petition reads.
