Maina kageni is definitely a rich man, no doubt! I mean how else can he afford to be country trotting every weekend while the rest of us are stuck at our dingy locals drinking cheap liquor?
I know it sucks but for the first time, No, for the 13th time he’s inviting you enjoy in his musings as he heads out to Diani this coming weekend. This will be part of the The Maina Kageni Road Trip Tour (#MKRTT) which is 52 weekends of action-packed travel activities tailored to deliver value to the different segments of domestic tourists.
Since the tour kicked-off in October 2015, activities have been themed around family, niche-events, sports, partying and nightlife. This is an effort supported by the private sector to rally Kenyans to consume and promote domestic tourism by exploring and discovering our country’s beautiful tourist destinations in the spirit embodied in the campaign motto – Tembea Tujenge Kenya.
This weekend the convoy is heading out to Diani with the first stop being Leopard Beach Resort & Spa which was Voted Kenya’s Leading Resort for five consecutive years (2010 to 2014) at the prestigious World Travel Awards before proceeding to enjoy other activities like Snorkeling at Kisite Mpunguti and also dolphin safaris in a dhow.
