Female Blogger Arrested For Allegedly Insulting the Brother to Nyeri Governor Becomes a National Hero After Kenyans Secured Her Freedom

Martha Miano a vocal blogger who has led the passionate battle against corruption in Nyeri spent a large part of her birthday which is today in court for allegedly attacking the brother to Nyeri Governor on her Facebook Page.

Following her arrest recently, Kenyans on Twitter joined other social media users and the people of Nyeri to try and secure her freedom with the hashtag #MarthaMiano and #freemartha

Thankfully Martha is now free as the judge threw out the case because the application for the case was improperly drafted.

Following her release ,the residents of Nyeri cheered and lifted her up that you would be forgiven to think that she was a popular politician.
