Man Shot As Kibera Youths Attempt To Uproot Railway Over An Alleged “Raila Assassination Attempt” After The CORD’S Leader’s Car Was Shot At (Photo)

As the protests in Nairobi town around the IEBC headquarters turned to chaos, ODM leader Raila Odinga’s car was hit.

It is yet to be established whether it was a stone or a gun but when news of this along with other images of the police brutality got t the expansive Kibera which is one of the opposition leader’s strongholds, chaos broke loose.

Youths estimated to be numbering 200 went into a rampage in fresh protests and engaged the police in running battles. Police opened fire using live bullets shooting one youth.

The chaos occurred about 9:30 pm. Cord has maintained it will still lead more rallies
