1.Mzee Ojwang:
Popularly known as Mzee Ojwang Hatari, the man had been part of our screens for close to 3 decades.

He passed away on the 13th of July in the evening at the Kenyatta National Hospital. Mzee Ojwang had been rushed to the hospital after falling sick suddenly and was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
2. Ahmed Darwesh
The news of his sudden death came as a shock to many last Monday . The news anchor had been battling diabetes and was rushed to hospital after he was found lying stock-still at his South B home and all efforts to revive him were fruitless.
He will be remembered for his deeply religious beliefs, kindness and charming smile.
3.Nana Gichuru
The actress lost her life when her posh BMW convertible rammed into a lorry at Utawala area along the Eastern bypass.Nana will be remembered for her YOLO attitude towards life, her love for speed, talent and the fact that she was so full of life.

She will also be remembered for extensively quoting Jack London, who was an American author, journalist, and social activist known for this quote “I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot….
4.Fidel Odinga

On January 4th, a Sunday morning, Fidel Odinga’s lifeless body was discovered in his Karen home by his young wife Lwam Bekele . His death came as a blow to not only Raila Odinga’s family but Kenyans at large who were very fond of the vivacious son to Raila.
He was laid to rest at his Bondo family home where his grandfather Jaramogi Oginga Odinga was buried 21 years ago.
5.Ruth Wangechi Knaust

The 38 year mother of 2 was known for being very vocal and her passion when it came to championing for women’s right was demonstrated during the famous ‘My Dress My Choice’ protest .She passed away through a tragic road accident on the 29th of November 2015 and was buried at their rural home in Ngariama, Kirinyaga County on the 5th of December.
6.Shrekeezy

22 year old Shrekeezy (Simon Njoroge) was a rapper and radio presenter. He worked at Hero Radio Kenya, which broadcasts in most of Rift Valley and parts of Western and Nyanza provinces.
His death came after he decided to take a boat ride from Whitesands Hotel to Mbundya island in Dar Tanzania where he mysteriously disappeared on 30 August 2015 only to be found dead 2 days later after a three-day search.
His was laid to rest at his parents’ home in Kabatini area in Nakuru County, Kenya on the 5th of September 2015
7. Murimi Wa Kahalf

Murimi wa Kahalf, became an overnight celebrity back in 2012 thanks to his hit song ‘Ino ni Momo’. Murimi passed way under unclear circumstances after he had been hospitalized for a while back in June.
