Nation’s Loss Proves To Standard’s Gain As Celebrated Cartoonist Gaddo Is Set To Join Rivals

A couple of months after Nation FM unceremoniously refused to renew his contract, Gaddo is now set to join NMG’s biggest competitor Standard Group.

The celebrated cartoonist who was recently a recipient of an international award for his Excellency and currently has the German media company Deustche Welle as the only media company he features his on aside from his online platform. According to close sources, the only thing he has to clear is first sort his case with Nation.

It will be a big blow to NMG to see such a close competitor benefit from the talent and following of someone it let go. At Standard, he will work with his former Nation Editor Joseph Odindo who is said to be behind the move.
