A Day After Bob Collymore Declared His Wealth. Another Big Boss Declares His! People Have Money

It is the season to be festive and it’s also the season to declare your wealth among the elite community.

The road was paved by Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore who revealed that he earned about 10 million per month and he has assets worth about 277 Million Kshs.

Next in line is KCB CEO Joshua Oigara who said he is worth 220 Million and earns 4.5 Million Kshs per month.

He declared his wealth because he felt that Kenyans need more transparency is a country that has been brought down to its knees by corruption. This is what he said “My public declaration is driven by the need for us as private sector players to initiate greater transparency. Kenya is bleeding from corruption mainly driven by secrecy in organizational operations. Corruption takes away equal opportunity and hurts growth by consuming funds which could otherwise have gone into social and economic projects like health and education.”
