A Musical Sharing the Magic of Kenya in Europe

Out of Africa: The Magic of Kenya is a Kenyan play that will begin staging today. The first venue is in Zoetermeer in The Netherlands.

The Kenya Tourism Board has facilitated the musical that is being staged in Europe in the hopes that it will spur the audiences to flock the country to experience local culture.

Out of Africa: The Magic of Kenya will premiere at the Stadstheater Zoetermeer this evening. The play features a full Kenyan cast who are charged with marketing the country’s cultural heritage through music and dance.

Out of Africa is produced by Peter Ultee Productions which began preparations earlier this year for the show that will play 70 times across Europe. After Netherlands, the play will then travel to Belgium, Denmark and Luxemburg over a three-month period.
