A ‘Mzungu’ Falls In Love With Kenya. What He Did Next Will Surprise You

25 year old Max Röing a Swedish native has had a 3 year long love affair with Kenya. A love story that begun when he jetted into the country in 2011, as a volunteer with a local NGO involved in environmental conservation.

3 years later, Max who is now aged 25 has become an Ilchamus Moran .Last week Max showed that his love for Kenya was not a fleeting feeling when he joined 5,000 Ilchamus youth for circumcision, a rite of passage that saw them become men.
Max Röing is now officially known as Max Lemeyan Le Kachuma from the Ilchamus tribe from the Iltoimai clan
In addition he is now rocking the traditional regalia worn by other male members of his new culture and partaking of their food that includes sour milk.

Update learning Maasai: I’m now at 700 words which is +200 since last month And I can really see a lot of improvements in my language skills and practice here in Kenya. My goal is now to learn an other 300 words in the next 1 month to to be able to reach 1000 which I Expect be a foundation enough to take the talking and learning to a good level
