Adelle Onyango, Joe Mfalme and Gloria Muliro to be Doing This Together Very Soon ….What is Not Happening?

Before I even get to the heart of the matter, you need hurry up to your calendar and mark the dates 18th and 19th March 2016 on your calendars because something big is going down; bigger than you have ever experienced.

It will be a culmination of some of the biggest celebrities in this country and guess what, you are invited. I’m talking about the likes of Amos and Josh, Gloria Muliro, Abass, DJ Joe Mfalme, Adelle Onyango amid other celebrities.

The big extravaganza in question is none other but Sarakasi festival which is bound to go down from the Wednesday 16th March to March 19th 2016. And just like the last one, it promises to be bigger and better with this year’s theme mainly focusing on Sarakasi Trust’s 15 year’s journey in supporting the local performing talent. This has gone a long way in giving the youth an opportunity for exposure on the Sawa Sawa platform.

The festival cut a niche for itself in creating a unique setting with an African cultural identity something it intends to keep even this year. The festivities will kick off on the 16th with a press networking session between artists and the media creating an opportunity to discuss the issues of moving the industry forward and it will be hosted by Arthur K and Emmanuel Ntoyai. Lunch and transport will be provided.

The 17th will bring forth a stakeholders forum from 11 AM at the same venue involving key stakeholders and policy makers in the industry and it will be hosted by Anyiko Awoko and Anitah Mbuguah. Lunch and transport will be provided.

Now the 18th is when all the magic is bound to happen with VIP unveiling and top notch performances from the likes of Gloria Muliro, Amos and Josh, DJ Joe Mfalme and Adelle as the MC. If you probably miss out due to some unavoidable circumstances, then don’t fret; it continues on the 19th.

During the day, which is a Saturday you can come experience a Hip Hop and Reggae fusion organized in cooperation with our youth groups with a myriad of activities which will include Sawa Sawa cipher and street djs competition.

The festivities will further continue into the evening with performances from the likes of Abbas, L Ness, Lavosti, Gravitti Band, Sarakasi All Star and Dj Kace.
