Afrobeat Legend Is Currently In Kenya(PHOTOS)
Oluseun Anikulapo Kuti , commonly known as Seun Kuti, is a Nigerian musician, and the youngest son of legendary afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti. Seun leads a 12-man band named “Egypt 80” which he inherited from his father.
Seun and his brother Femi are the two successful sons of the late Nigerian afrobeat innovator Fela Kuti. Like his father, Seun has continued to produce songs that speak out against the evil ways of the Nigerian government. The influential saxophonist, sometimes referred to as a “Minister of Music” has been quoted by Beyonce as an inspiration to her. He recently jetted into the country and is being hosted by Kenya’s “Peace Commissioner” Buddha Blaze. Rumor has it that he is staying in Nairobi’s Westlands area.
