Two months from now, Kenya will be represented in a prestigious award gala in the US by gospel songstress, Janet Otieno.

Janet popularly known for her mega hit ‘Napokea Kwako’ featuring Tanzanian gospel queen, Christina Shusho, will be flying the country’s flag high come August when she will be attending the annual Sauti Awards in America.

The gospel singer was recently nominated for Groove Awards, Female Artist of the Year. Another nomination is icing on the cake for her flourishing music career.

Sauti Awards is a prestigious gospel music award held in the US annually to honor excellence in recording arts and sciences.

The annual event brings together thousands of creative professionals from all over the world to celebrate music.

Janet has once again been nominated for Female Artist of the Year on the American awards.
