We literally screeched in delight when Jay Z and Jay Electronica gave a shout out to the then newly-minted Oscar winner, Lupita Nyong’o.

In the ‘We Made It ‘ Song, Jay Z’s raps this in his verse:

I’m on my Lupita Nyong’o
Stuntin’ on stage, after 12 Years A Slave
This Ace of Spades look like an Oscar

To which Lupita replied with “Dear Mr. Carter & Mr. Thedford, your shout-out made me screech with glee. Mad BK & NOLA love. #WeMadelt – LN @SC @JayElectronica.”

Now Page Six Reports that musical legend who has 25 Grammy awards, Stevie Wonder has something special for the ‘12 Years A Slave’ actress. Apparently, Stevie told Lupita that he wants to write a song for her.   This was after Stevie Wonder graced her with his presence at the opening night of Eclipsed, a play Lupita stars in.

How exciting!
