After She Pulled a Prank on Hussein Mohammed, Janet Mbugua’s Colleagues Return the Favor and Surprise Her

Janet Mbugua took her maternity leave last Monday and did it with such a huge bang that her co-anchor Hussein Mohammed almost suffered a heart attack.

Janet feigned labor by clutching her belly and saying that she felt something move in her belly to get back at Hussein who was left shaking in his boots.

But that was not the only exciting thing that took place as Citizen TV’s employees surprised Janet with a cake to send her off to her maternity leave.

“ Thank all y’all for the love! The @citizentvkenya family really surprised me. I’ll miss hosting #MondaySpecialKE but the lovely @jacquemaribe will hold fort like a baus! And yes, I’m glad I finally got back at Hussein Looking forward to the next chapter of my life” she wrote.
