Another Quincy Timberlake-Like Case? Woman in Kayole Chops off Her Son’s Tongue and Kills Him in an Attempt to Exorcise Demons
Kenyans are still in shock over the frightful murder of Sinclair Timberlake, Esther Arunga’s son, who met his death after his father killed him while trying to disentangle him from demons.
The court heard that prior to his death, poor little Sinclair was punched repeatedly in the stomach so as to remove ‘alien embryos’ implanted in his stomach then allegedly flung against a wall, before he was bathed dressed and tucked into bed.
Now residents of Kanguruwe slum in Kayole have been left in distress after a woman cut off her 6 months old son’s tongue and pulled out his intestines in a bid to exorcise demons during an overnight prayer session.

The Suspect: Irene Mbithe (Photo: nairobinews.nation.co.ke)
Irene Mbithe who is currently in police custody spent Wednesday night praying and shouting ‘pepo toka’ and hours later woke up her relative Catherine Muthama telling her that the demons had defeated the child and wanted to kill the child.
Muthama found Mbithe holding the babies tongue which later went missing. The incident was even more bizarre after the baby’s intestines were found in a washing powder tin.
The reason for Mbithe’s atrocious act according to Ms Muthama was that she used to be a member of a church in Machakos County before leaving the church.
