Ben Kiruthi’s Unbelievable Photoshoot Of My Uncle Tim’s Wedding
So my uncle Tim got married a couple weeks ago to his long time girlfriend Sarah.
It was a lovely occasion, which was hosted at the Stanley was the first I had witnessed in my nuclear family’s generation. My uncle flew in from Australia and the couple got the first class treatment at Sarova Stanley. Also present was Kenya’s pre-eminent wedding photographer Ben Kiruthi. Ben was all over the event taking pictures of the married couple, family, friends and also the celebrity performers who were there, including Ringtone, Mbuvi and Mr. Ndilima(I know Mr. Kiruthi doesn’t like to be called a paparazzi so ntamwachia tu 🙂
I knew Ben’s photos were going to be top notch from his reputation, and boy did he not disappoint. *(images used with permission of the bride & groom)

The moment of truth.

Laughter and happiness all around after the fact.

This expert work was anticipated, but one thing that I did not expect was Ben Kiruthi’s expert storytelling, which he typically does on his blog benkiruthi.com to recap on weddings past. A prose so profound it almost brought me to tears as I vividly recalled the highlights of the Tim & Sarah union. I was moved to the point I felt I had to share with the Ghafla! audience the experience, so without further ado, here is Ben’s post: on Sarah & Tim’s Love Story :: A Sarova Stanley Wedding. Enjoy.
