Bob Collymore Accepts Larry Madowo’s Ice bucket Challenge (Video)

I am pretty sure that you guys have heard of the Ice Bucket Challenge or have even participated in it. The Ice Bucket Challenge was started to raise money for research and treatment of ALS and spread awareness of the motor neurone disease.

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or ALS OR Lou Gehrig’s affects nerve cells in two of the most important parts of the human body; the brain and the spinal cord.

The disease which has affected Stephen Hawking, a feted English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, and author.

 The illness is characterised by muscle weakness difficulty in swallowing speaking, paralysis and subsequently death. The disease currently affects 30,000 Americans and the number of Kenyans affected by this condition is unknown.

Kenyan such as Peter Kenneth, Susan Wong, Fareed Khimani, Larry Madowo and Kalekye Mumo have also joined the viral philanthropy campaign with Larry donating 50,000 shillings. But to the Beyond Zero Campaign because it is more applicable in Kenya.
