Breaking News: Mr Nice Shown The Door By Grandpa Records!!!

In a complete turn of events, Grandpa Records has kicked out Mr Nice from its stable. This means that the Tanzanian singer is no longer part of Grandpa family. This comes after barely two months after the artist was unveiled by the recording stable and was expected to make a music comeback but now it seems that will never be.

This is a shocker to Mr Nice’s fans who were optimistic that things were now moving in the right direction for their favourite musician considering he had already done a collabo with DNA, taken part in Grandpa’s charity events and even taken on a countrywide tour to re-popularize him with the most recent one being at Club Changes in Busia where he performed.

In a statement, Grandpa describes Mr Nice as “the most difficult,uncooperative,lazy,unreliable artist” they have ever worked with. The statement further adds that Mr Nice violated the agreement they entered in two months ago and that he had signed with another record studio in his home country, something that he kept a secret when entering into contract with Grandpa Records.

Here’s the entire statement;

To Grandpa Records fans and friends we’ve decided to drop Mr nice from Grandpa Records artists’ roster. Mr Nice has been terminated for violating the agreement we entered with him. For the sake of media and the general public we will summarize and say this, Mr Nice is the most difficult, uncooperative, lazy, unreliable artist we’ve ever worked with. The points and incidents of conflict are too many to mention here. To be brief Mr Nice had previously signed a deal with Sallam Sharaf and Lamar in Tanzania and did not disclose this to us at the point of being signed to grandpa records. All in all, aluta continua we tried our best but he failed us.

This means that the launch of his sophomore ‘Chali wa Kibera’, is as good as dead.

Is this the final nail on Mr Nice’s coffin?
