Channel O Lists 10 Most Influential African Music Game Changers. Is Kenya On The List?

Channel O recently released a list of the Game Changers in the African music industry. Those that took African music to another level.

This was during their weekly show  ”TOP 10 MOST” that premiered on the 8th of October that features never-seen-before Top 10 lists.

The lists included The Top Ten Most Bankable artists, Top 10 Most Swagged out artists, Top 10 Most Followed Kings and Queens of social media and recently Top 10 Most Game Changers.

The show is hosted by Ice Prince and the beautiful Tanzanian VJ Jokate and below is the list they presented.The list was, as expected dominated by Nigerian artistes with a splash of South Africans and a dash of Congolese Musicians.

9: South Africa’s Mafikizolo and Nigeria’s Flavor.

8: Channel O host Ice Prince and Naeto C Both from Nigeria.

7: Tiwa Savage and Wizkidayo both from Nigeria

6: DJ Jimmy Jatt from Nigeria and DJ Waxxy from South Africa

5: Nigerians Banky W and PSquare

4: Somalian/Canadian KNAAN with the 2010 World Cup theme, Waving Flag.

3: Kokomaster Dbanj and Don Jazzzy with Why Me

2:  South Africa’s Boom Shaka, with It’s About Time

And the number 1 spot in the African Game Changer was taken by none other than 2 Face Idibia with African Queen.
