I once read in Coming to Birth, that Kenyatta Senior had his motorcade egged during the opening of Russia hospital, about 35+ years later his son received a hostile welcome after Migori youth plummeted him with shoes.

Some could say that, that is why he did not show up for Fidel’s funeral and opted to send Raychelle Omamothe Cabinet Secretary for Defence .Raychelle was however heckled loudly when she stepped onto the podium but decided to warrior on amidst loud hisses and name calling. But the crowd would have none of it and that is why they escorted her out with bottles and other items.

Charity Ngilu who had also taken to the podium earlier did not have better luck and she was welcomed with boos..but she remained unfazed and carried on with her speech.

Whenever there is a crowd in Kenya we expect a lot of foolery to go on, but i think this was a bit much.
