On Twitter, two trending hash tags have been doing rounds; #TembeaKenya & #ExploreKenya. If you have been wondering what the fuss is all about, worry no more for I am here to let you know about these two hash tags.

It is high time we as the citizens of Kenya promote Local Tourism, and Magical Kenya have stepped up to ensure this is done. Most of us, I included, hardly know our country. I get to tour Kenya while chilling in the house flipping through a magazine, watching some program on TV or just cuddled up and watching some movie on a chilly day, I can hear some of you nodding cause you know you also guilty of this. And every time, I get astounded about the beauty of these places, places that I share the same patriotism with, but I do not know them, why? Cause these places will not go anywhere so I’ll still see them, I have no car to go with to Amboseli, my pals are busy…the excuses are endless.

It is time we stop this, so instead of sitting in the house the whole weekend, why don’t we #ExploreKenya and appreciate how much God has blessed our country.
