Ciku Muiruri Ridicules The Globes Response On The Charlie Hebdo Massacre and Drags Bob Marley Into It

Ciku Muiruri has raised praising concerns regarding the recent Charlie Hebdo massacre that happened in France which grabbed the attention of the entire world for a moment.

The terror attack on French satirical weekly magazine, Charlie Hebdo left the whole world shocked by the kind of brutality terrorists committed against journalists. The unfortunate incident sparked a global condemnation from leaders across the globe.

After the incident, global leaders including leaders from African states joined French citizens in an anti-terrorism rally that was held in France. The anti-terror rally is the one that rubbed Ciku the wrong way.

Ciku argues Charlie Hebdo attack saw only 12 people killed yet 3.7 million people and 40 heads of states attended a rally to condemn the incident while Boko Haram had recently massacred over 2000 people and there was no such kind of gathering of global leaders to condemn the heinous terrorist act.

Ciku went ahead to evoke Bob Marley’s song which she used to ridicule the double standard being applied in terrorist attacks. Below is what Ciku wrote:

After the Charlie Hebdo attack that saw 12 dead, at least 3.7 million people attended an anti-terrorism rally in France including Heads of State of 40 countries – Including, African leaders. Meanwhile, in our own backyard, bodies still litter the bushes after the Boko Haram massacre of over 2000 people 9 days ago. Terror is terror. But would these Heads of State also march in Africa? I’m guessing no… “When the rain fall, fall, fall now,

It don’t fall on one man’s housetop. Remember that:

When the rain fall,

It don’t fall on one man’s housetop” – Bob Marley.
