1ST April is the only day that we get to get away with lying and tomfoolery and this year I fell victim to one of the biggest phony stories ever, the story of the young presenter who took quite a pounding from her lover.
In my defense that story really seemed legit, there were broken teeth, a black eye and raw emotions, but at least I am not the only one who fell for this, 14,000 of you did!
Turns out it was not only Ghafla who pulled off a successful prank but The Star too who ran a story about Binyavanga being appointed as an ambassador to Uganda. Cheeky Ciku Muiruri was not left behind and almost pulled off this prank
