Citizen TV Receives Severe Backlash from Kenyans for Airing the Plight of Esther Arunga

Yesterday, Citizen TV ran a story on the plight of Esther Arunga after her son’s death. The clip revealed that Esther Arunga had two daughters after Sinclair who were promptly taken away after his bizarre murder.

On the day she lost Sinclair, she lost all she had, her husband and children and watching the clip one could not help but sympathize with her. It’s actually amazing how strong this woman is, she has managed to keep it together despite all she was battling with.Citizen TV reveals to us that Esther was now living alone, devoting most of her time to reading.

This expose has really angered a lot of Kenyan especially on Twitter who felt that Citizen TV should let Esther be especially now that she has a lot on her plate, especially grieving the loss of her son. Here are some of the comments on Twitter:

Esther Achieng: Nonsense, leave Esther Arunga alone unless you all plan to help with her situation. Why make news on her misery? She is dealing with so much tragedy.
