CONFIRMED: Jamaican artiste Jah Cure coming to Kenya
I’ve been dreaming of this day for the longest time and now, it’s about to become a reality. One of the biggest reggae artistes, celebrated in Jamaica and Internationally, will be performing in Kenya in a month’s time.
Jah Cure, real names Siccature Alcock, is well known in the reggae circles for his distinct, unique voice. The kind of voice that could be used to ‘toa nyoka pangoni‘. Husky, yet melodic. You don’t get to hear this kind of voice often, and the music that he makes leaves everyone’s mouth wide open, yearning for more. Especially the ladies.
Cure will be coming to Kenya in late November, as one of his stops for his latest tour dubbed ‘Call On Me Tour’. He will touch the stage and rock the massive on the 1st of December 2012 and I am almost sure this will be something like the Tarrus Riley concert. Maybe even better. No! I am positive it will be better.
You are probably wondering who is behind this huge and ‘legendary to be’ concert. Well, it is non other than ‘Big Tunes Live’, the same guys who brought us Tarrus Riley and Etana. Other sponsors of this concert are Q TV and ofcourse, Dohty Family Entertainment.
The concert will be going down at the Kasarani Indoor Arena from 7PM till late. The advanced tickets go for Sh. 2000 and Sh. 3000 at the gate. The V.I.P entrance goes for Sh. 5000.
