Cristiano Ronaldo and Other Hollywood Celebrities Donate 860 Million Kshs
80 % percent of the children who die in East Africa have not been to a health care provider and 1 in 8 children born in our country die before they celebrate their 5th birthday.
Cristiano Ronaldo in conjunction with ER Actor Anthony Edwards and Natalie Portman (Star Wars, Black Swan) are trying to change this. They are teaming up with Toby Tanser to build the BIGGEST public children’s hospital in Africa. Toby Tanser is the founder of Shoe4Africa foundation. (A foundation that gives East Africa’s children a voice and a fighting chance by providing shoes and education for them.)
The hospital slated to be completed in December will be referred to as Shoe4Africa Children’s hospital. It will have a capacity of 75 beds, theatres and playground. The nifty project is said to cost around Million dollars (860Million) and will see about 200-300 children getting Medicare on a Daily basis.Cristiano will visit the country as soon as the project is completed in December.
