Dance Hall Singer BLAQY Battered By Club Tribeka Bouncer. Find out Why
You may be wondering why, after Ghafla Kenya exclusively revealed that dance hall singer Blaqy will be releasing his song this week, he has not done so.
Indeed Blaqy was destined to release his new ‘Dance Together’ video this week in which we revealed he has featured Messiah, but something horrible happened to the singer on Tuesday evening.
Blaqy is said to have received a token beating from a bouncer that left the singer nursing injuries.
You can imagine a fist of a bouncer landing on someone of Blaqy’s stature! Horrendous, right?
Now the singer has not taken the beating lightly. He has actually recorded a statement with Central Police station and served with an OB which Ghafla Kenya has exclusively had an eye on.
Here is the OB:

The OB
Blaqy has accused the bouncer of assault and those are the charges he has filed against him.
When Ghafla Kenya reached out to the singer for comment, he revealed that the incident occurred after he (Blaqy) had refused to give ‘something’ to the bouncer.
“This guy wanted some money from me before I got into the club but I refused because we are not required to pay anything before going into any club,” Blaqy said.
He adds that the incident began when a certain lady started roughing him up in the club and when he tried warning her, the bouncer landed on him with blows and slaps. He adds that this must have a trap set on him by the bouncer.
One thing that baffles the singer is that the ordeal occurred in front of the glare of cameras and Willy M Tuva, the owner of the every-Tuesday show dubbed Wakilisha east Africa.
On his new video, Blaqy has said that he is finalizing on some issues and it will be out by tomorrow, Friday.
