Did Sauti Sol Steal ‘Sura Yako’ From Uganda? Here Is Their Response
Recently, cases of music theft have been on the rampant making us wonder whether some artist are actually thieves masquerading as musicians.
Hell broke loose when Bahati came out accusing Willy Paul of shamelessly stealing his songs and twisting them to sound as if they were his.
If that shocked you, you will be equally surprised to know some guy from Banana Republic of Uganda was also claiming the one and only Sauti Sol stole ‘Sura Yako’ from the neighbouring state.

What! The song that won them 2014 EMA Award was actually stolen from Museveniland? This dude must be a total wacko! He even had the guts to claim the disputed Island, Mijingo or is it Migingo is rightfully Uganda’s.
Well, he attracted the attention of Sauti Sol themselves who of cause took his claims lightly.
“Someone from Uganda is claiming that SURA YAKO is a Ugandan song. Guess you’ll have to wait till we come to make sure.” Sauti Sol wrote in part.
The guy is surely an itching bug, he need to be sprayed with a pesticide! KOT should teach him a lesson or two.
