Did You Know That President Kenyatta (The First) Was An Actor?
As it turns out, even the late president Kenyatta just like a large percentage of us started from the bottom.
The former president way before he was president played a tribal leader in a 1934 movie Sanders of the River. It’s said that the reason he acted in the movie was because he was broke and looking for a work.

Who knew this would be the future president of Kenya?
The movie revolves around a British colonial District Commissioner in Colonial Nigeria, Sanders (Leslie Banks) who tries to rule his district fairly unlike other colonialists. His different mode of operation earns him respect from the indigenous tribes and earns him an ally, Bosambo.
When Sanders leaves, there develops an inter tribal conflict and Bosambo’s wife gets kidnapped. Who will save the day? Watch Bosambo and Kenyatta in action below:
