Did You Know That This Celebrated Musician Named His Daughter Nairobi?

Nairobi has gained a reputation as the economic hub of East Africa and the city where dreams come true.

It also boasts of the world’s only game reserve within a major city; the Nairobi National Park which is home to four of the ‘Big Five’ i.e. lions, leopards, buffalo and rhinos.

Away from the grit and grime in some areas, Nairobi is a pretty impressive city maybe that is why one of Uganda’s greatest musicians has named one of his children after the City.

Bobi Wine’s 7 year old daughter whom he fondly refers to as his ‘little princess’ goes by the name Shalom Namagembe Nairobi Nalunkuuma.

Bobi wine joins the increasing number of celebrities who have named their kids after cities with Michael Jackson naming his daughter ‘Paris’ while David Beckham has a son called Brooklyn.
