DID YOU KNOW: This TV Presenter Is Also A Fashion Designer

Celebrated entertainment show presenter Anyiko Owoko is famous for her travels with the KBC production “Grapevine.”

However, there is the other side of her that she will be showcasing this week: her fashion designer side.

25-year old Anyiko Owoko is a media personality and a self-professed fashionista/lover of colour. For just over three years, she has been working as a TV Host and most recently, Assistant Producer of KBC’s and Kenya’s longest-running (10 years) entertainment magazine show, Grapevine. Despite having a lot of stylists offer to dress her on her show, she has always preferred to do it herself, “something that makes me have to keep up with myself, trends and the pressure,” she says. Anyiko is also the Associate Editor of UP Magazine, Nairobi’s leading platform for the city’s thriving arts and culture. The established blogger has also written for the Goethe-Institut Kenya and international magazine on African Fashion and Achievements: ARISE. Anyiko triples up as Sauti Sol’s Publicist, and with other partners, she has recently started a new company—Rhythm City Kenya, for Artist Image Consultancy and Events Curation. Anyiko is also a part-time model and has been featured in among fashion spreads in True Love Magazine and as a cover model for Healthy Woman magazine.
