Drama As a Musician Is Booed Off Stage during Alaine’s Concert (Photos)

When the artiste  took to the stage in a pair of jeans and an Ankara top, hair tied in a ponytail one could tell that this was a moment she had been waiting for, for a long time.

A visibly excited Maida knew that getting with Kenzo on stage would certainly give a massive boost to her career. The obviously eager singer started singing and what came out of her mouth can only be likened to sufurias falling down a a flight of stairs.

It caused the kind of feeling you get when nails scratch a chalk board  or when you hear a mosquito get too close to you ear. It was the kind of sound that made you want to swat something or someone.

The crowd was so shocked by her dismal performance that they went dead silent; you could literally hear crickets chirping. The deathly  silence was swiftly followed by loud hateful and passionate  booing. people booed like their lives depended on it!

Undeterred, she tried winning back the crowd by asking ‘Watu Wa Man-U mpo?’ But Alas! The crowd would have none of it! It was one hell of a tough crowd and they had gotten angsty.

The loud jeering continued and the humiliated upcoming singer had to get off the stage crestfallen.

We spoke to Maida to find out what was up with her voice or was there something that led her to perform oh-so-dismally? Maida,a clearly positive person was very positive and says that  she thought performance was great,the sound was great and the energy at the venue was great.
