‘Dumbala’ Hitmaker Jay A Reveals What He Has Been Up To Since Disappearing Suddenly From the Spotlight
In the 2013-2014 period, Jay-A was the ‘ish’ especially among the youth but he disappeared without warning from the spotlight in 2015.But worry not, he is back and with something that has been keeping him busy after he went silent.
The young Hitmaker behind the big song DUMBALA has teamed up with Award winner Coastal based singer Dazlah to release ‘Iyo’ a song expected to be one of Kenya’s hit songs of the year 2016.
A huge collabo which according to Jay A is a New Year gift to all his fans both locally and internationally, from his Coastal roots. The partnership between the two artists has really enhanced the song, which is set to be a club banger. The song is a fusion of the Coastal Beat Chakacha and Hip Hop, and the synchronization between the two artist voices blends very well.
This is Jay A’s ninth single, and going by the success of the his earlier songs (Dumbala featuring Sage, Don’t Stop featuring Tiana from Jamaica, On me featuring Amina, Gello, Pledge my love featuring Antoneosoul, Take Notes, Smash, Clap Yo Hands, also including songs that he has featured amongst them Ligi Soo by Rabbit, and Only You by Neneh from Rwanda) which have all been featured well both locally and on major international platforms, this one also destined for success.
The song has been produced by Teehits a Coast based producer, who has a number of big songs under his belt.
