E-Sir Is Still The King. You Will Be Amazed To See What These Artists Did In Honor Of Him

When he passed away on March 2003, Issah Mmari or better known as E-Sir left a dent in the hearts of hip hop enthusiasts in the country. Even so, his memory still lives on.

Even long after his death, E-Sir is still widely regarded as one of the best rappers to emerge on the Kenyan hip hop scene. To keep his memory fresh, two artists went on to pay tribute to the late rapper by releasing a new song about him.

Sprouting musicians, Kid Willy and Kanana released a new track dubbed “The New Born E-Sir”. The song heavily borrows its chorus form E-Sir’s “Hamunitishi”. Just like E-Sir used to “kill” it with his lyricism, the pair has also done quite a tremendous job.
