Multiple award-wining Kenyan music producer: Tim ‘Timwork’ Rimbui has released the first single STAND UP off his upcoming self titled debut EP set for release later this year. STAND UP features the talents of Nigerian Super producer/artiste Masterkraft, Kenyan rapper/singer Wangechi and soulful Kenyan singer Jarel.

The groovy single ‘Stand Up’ sees Timwork ingeniously fusing a dancehall rhythm to produce a very rhythmic beat backed by an even catchier melodious hook/chorus well delivered by singer himself, Jarel and Nigerian uber producer Mastekraft that will certainly get you singing along. Wangechi as always never disappoints bringing out a sunny side rap flow that will definitely get you on your feet.

Speaking about this unique project, Timwork said, “This record is about finally getting to do music for fans and friends and myself. I have had a career of over 15 years and I feel fortunate enough to have the blessings of top music acts as well as younger acts who still think me worthy enough to craft their sounds,” adding, “I am all nervous to finally put my name on my music as an artiste but I am confident that it is my time to tell my stories through music.”

“Such a great comeback tune from one of the pioneering producers of urban Kenyan music” –Blinky Bill

“Tim hiyo beat ni siiick, nitacome uni tengenezee beat kama hiyo” – Dj Xclusive

” Once I heard the beat, the words and feel of the chorus I knew I had to jump on this and add that flavour to make it even better. This is a sure banger! Africa will Stand Up.” Wangechi

“Nothing gives me a bigger rush than turning up a party with a hard hitting African banger and doing it with a crew of chart topping game changers is the icing on the cake. It’s a dream come true featuring on a timwork record, Stand Up slays every dance floor” – Jarel

The TIMWORK EP features collaborations with Masterkraft, Rabbit, Maurice Kirya, Wangechi, Silvastone, Owuor Arunga, Blinky Bill, Wangechi amongst others with range of influences from pop, afro pop, EDM and dancehall.
