Even With All the Corruption and the Inflation, here is Something to Look Forward to in Kenya….This Will Make You Smile #20BobNiMob
Last week the country woke up to yet another explosive dossier, that 400 million was apparently missing from the public coffers. This was money belonging to the youth fund stacked away in a savings account meant to uplift the lives of the many Kenyan youth struggling with poverty and unemployment.
But nooo, it seems like it has ended up in the pockets of a couple of individuals in the country. Which is not something new anyway, considering the country is still grabbling with the “little” issue of 791 million missing from the public coffers. And by the look of things, there might be no light at the end of the tunnel as everything seems to have been politicized.
It’s truly sad that our country has come to this, that we don’t have anything to look forward to, something to stand tall and be proud of. Even Karura forest we are more certainly proud of is on the blink of being snatched by a set of egocentric avaricious individuals. Trust me the feeling of entitlement had escaped me as well until I stumbled upon this amazing thing called Unliminet 20.
It has enabled me to communicate with my friends on whatsapp, participate in vital debates on twitter and facebook and also communicate with family in the Diaspora as we all embark on the long journey meant to find solutions for our beautiful country.
Because Kenya is truly a little heaven on earth with replenishing gifts which come in the form of 20MB data, 8 minutes talk time to any network and 20 SMSs to any network at only 20 bob.
Don’t you think we all need to thank Airtel for putting a smile on our faces and making life a bit more habitable?
