Silas Mwenda, a versatile new singing sensation, started his journey to stardom after being discovered by Talanta Awards which he was crowned the Best Upcoming Artist at the 5th Edition of Talanta Awards in 2012.

Since then, it has been milestone after milestone for the soft-spoken and humble singer now an actor.

Silas made foray into the flourishing film industry last year after he was selected to feature in an amazing film called ‘Love Lilly’ which was shot in Denver Colorado, New Mexico and Los Angeles by Chesthut Films.

The 26 year old has just been featured in a money-spinning Pepsi TV commercial.

In the commercial, Silas plays the role of a football player and has just completed rehearsals for the main shoot slated for end of June in Seattle.

The Pepsi commercial, sponsored by US Airways, will air this fall during the season for American Football and will also be onboard all US Airways flights.

What a way to do things!
