Fake Mc’s, Fake Friends and Fake Relationships. Stay Away from Them, #KuwaTrue to Yourself

In this day and age, there are very few people looking for the intricate details. Most people just want things easy, touching a little bit on the surface and it’s a done deal. Very few take their time to understand people but want to sit there and draw all manner of conclusions.

Look at the Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill scenario. Many people have chosen to look at the surface; that Nicki Minaj is more popular and makes more money and thus Meek Mill is just riding on her fame. This however might be the case as they might actually be in love. Deep down they might have found an emotional connection but because looking at the surface makes most of us sleep well at night, then conclusions were drawn.

Digressing away from the whole Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill issue, do you remember that high school teacher who always tried to bring you down just because you didn’t conform to his standards of living? How they always tried to shove math’s down your throat and when you didn’t get it, they demeaned you and alleged you’ll never amount to anything? How they just looked at the surface and ignored the ambition and the creativity that was bubbling under?

What about your first crush? The one with the long hair, long neck like that of an Ostrich and a perfect pair of legs to match? Do you remember how she ignored and emasculated you just because she thought you were poor; just because at the point you didn’t own a fancy pair of true religion jeans and state of the art air max’s?  But deep down you had this burning desire to be with her and you would have basically done anything for her.

What about that manipulative and sadistic supervisor during your internship who made you their donkey, doing both your work and theirs as they promised an impressive recommendation only for them to turn against you?

From all these scenarios, we can deduce that it’s very hard to distinguish the truth from the fake. That however doesn’t mean you have to be like everybody else, you can choose a different path. You can emancipate yourself from all the negativity and choose to be true to yourself because let’s face it; you have only got yourself to answer to.

In everything you do, it’s okay to be different and to be real…real to your career, your passions and ambitions; true to your friendships because very few are genuine nowadays and most importantly true to your relationships.

Mutual respect, understanding and honesty is all it takes and most importantly being open to the fact that you are in this together and that there are certain consequences of having unprotected sex if the time is not right.
