Feted Music Producer Blames The Media For The Rising Cases Of Sexual Violence Against Women
Sexual violence against women has escalated at a scary rate in Kenya at recent times and producer Tedd Josiah feels that the media is partly to blame for this.
He is of the opinion that the media depicts women as sexual objects, tits and ass and in the process desensitizes men form valuing them.
This is what he posted:
Why no one is blaming the media for the wonderful part they’ve played by desensitising us men from thinking women are anything more than tits & ass to shake for us, dress provocatively and turn men on….?
Isn’t that what they play on TV in the music videos?
Isn’t that what “sells”….?
Isn’t that the content of 95% of the music videos?
Those videos, are they not the same videos that matatu touts watch day in day out?
Summary – SH*T IN, SH*T OUT famous quote by one famous underground poet.
What put into your brain constantly without a stop, will “dicktate” your actions.
Now let’s all go watch some lovely raunchy sexy music videos with girls half dressed teasing, sweating, touching and shaking….. Thanks Kenya TV stations for showing us that our women are objects… Now let’s live with the outcome of objectification of women.
