Holy Dave’s intensifying influence in the Gospel Hip-hop industry cannot be disputed.

He has played a major role in shaping the careers of household names such as Eko Dydda and Kelele Takatifu among others.

In 2010 his collaboration with Eko Dydda ‘Niko na Reason’ scooped the Groove Awards Hip-hop song of the Year award. In 2012 the Groove Awards Hip-hop category featured three of his songs; ‘Press on’ with Izzo, ‘Mara Hio Hio’ with Bantu and ‘Ni Msoh’ with Kelele Takatifu. In 2014 the trend continues, after ‘Wannabe’ his recent collaboration with ‘Dee’ got nominated in the all so familiar Hip-hop category. Currently Holy Dave is working on his new song titled ‘Milk and Honey’, produced by ‘Mgangez Kama Kawa’ and Leon Chege at Fullhouse Music. Away from music Holy Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Computer Science and an MBA in Strategic Management. Last year he attended Advanced Financial Modeling classes and is now a certified Investment Analyst.
