Former Camp Mulla Member Miss Karun Is Leaving the Country for Texas. Find Out What She Will Be Up To There
After staying for sometime in Kenya, Miss Karun is set to leave the country.
She will be leaving the country with the new Kenyan music collective Cosmic Homies comprising of Runkah (Miss Karun),Marushka, Kiwango, and Taio (formerly of Camp Mulla) are making their way to the 2016 SXW (South by Southwest Festival) in Austin, Texas. SXSW is one of the world’s biggest annual set of film, interactive media and music festivals/conferences. From Kenya to the world: Cosmic Homies represent Kenya’s wealth of amazing alternative music and talent. They are part of the Kenyan arts and culture narrative that continues to unfold across Africa and the globe over.

To prepare Cosmic Homies for this epic journey, welcome to The Alchemist Bar today starting 8:00 p.m. for their send-off party. The event will feature Cosmic Homies, Jinku, YLM, Tetu Shani, Bankslave, Afri Na Ladi, Natural Stripes, Unbound Ether and E.A.S.T Collective – a collection of Kenyan alternative music artistes in performances. Cosmic Homies will be among Petite Noir (SA), Davido (NG), Fuse ODG (GH), Stoneboy (GN) Iyanya (NG) and K.O (South Africa), some of the other African artistes set to perform at the prestigious festival. (March 11th -20th).
